Do I need a permit to remove a tree?
Most private residential trees in Memphis do not need one. Germantown, Collierville, commercial sites, and new construction can have tree rules. We will tell you if a permit is likely.
Does insurance cover tree removal?
Usually when a tree falls on a covered structure like your house, garage, or fence. A standing dead tree is usually not covered. We provide photos and written estimates for claims.

Late fall through winter for most trees, while they are dormant. Dangerous limbs should come off any time.
How deep do you grind stumps?
Usually 6 to 12 inches below ground, deeper if you plan to plant in the same spot.
Do you clean up after the job?
